Our cabins in Buena Vista, CO deliver the perfect mix of rustic charm and thoughtful comfort. Nestled on a hillside at the Midland Trailhead, these cabins provide an unplugged yet convenient experience — ideal for families, friends, and nature lovers seeking Collegiate Peaks cabin stays.

Our Cabins & Bunkhouse

Standard Cabins (1-2 Bedroom) We have multiple cabins scattered around the property:

  • One-room cabins — Sleep up to 4 (queen bed + twin bunks)

  • Two-room cabins — Sleep up to 6 (queen bed in one room + bunk beds in the other)

Each cabin includes electricity (most with ceiling fans and heat), a fire ring, and picnic table. While cabins do not have private bathrooms or running water, guests enjoy full access to our clean, renovated bathhouse with private showers. Perfect for those who want a true cabin feel without sacrificing convenience.

Bunkhouse (Sleeps up to 6) Our Bunkhouse offers an affordable, social lodging option. Book a single bunk or the entire space when available. It features three sets of twin bunk beds in one room, a large covered picnic table, and an unplugged vibe (lanterns provided — no electricity). Great for groups, solo travelers, or budget-friendly mountain getaways.

  • We have three bathhouses on property. The one attached to our main office building is a binary bathroom with showers and toilets on both sides. Two of our bathhouses are gender neutral, with each bathroom containing its own shower, toilet, and sink. Additionally each of our gender neutral bathrooms has one ADA stall.
